Youth from across the state will have the opportunity to compete in the State 4-H Clay Target Championships on April 23-24 at the Heartland Public Shooting Park near Grand Island.

Competitors registered as a Junior and Senior Tier I, shoot 50 trap, 50 sporting clays, and 50 skeet targets. Senior Tier II competitors will field 50 trap, 75 sporting clays and 75 skeet targets. The top four eligible Senior Tier II shooters are expected to represent Nebraska at this year’s 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships also held at the Heartland Shooting Sports Park in late June.
