All 4-H’ers age 8 and up are needed to join in the Cherry County 4-H Council’s donation drive for the “Luck of the Draw” on Thursday, December 28.
For those of you that are new to 4-H or the area, “Luck of the Draw” is the 4-H Foundation/Council’s one and only fundraiser for Cherry County 4-H. Items collected on the 28th are used in drawings to raise money during the Heart City Bull Bash on February 10. Money raised during the Luck of the Draw supports Cherry County 4-H awards and trophies, clinics, scholarships, leadership development and project resources.
Leaders and parents are welcomed and encouraged to help. We will need at least 6 drivers for the Valentine area. If parents are willing to drive or 4-Hers can help with the collection, please contact Tiffany Swanson at email@example.com or (308) 430-1643. We will meet at 1:00 P.M., CT, at the Extension Office. From there, we will divide up and personally visit Valentine businesses to collect their donations.
Cody, Kilgore, Nenzel and Merriman area collections will take place on the 28th as well. Contact Michelle McNare to help and for meeting time and place details at firstname.lastname@example.org or (402) 322-1438.
